Usually when we see a TV show about a high school, You usually see a lot of gossiping and bullying between girls more so often compared to boys. I don't think this is a coincidence. I believe that the media is stereotyping girls into one category where girls create a lot of drama, which is not always the case. I think the media portrays this because the audience wants to see women like this. If the media is constantly bombarding peoples' heads with this fake reality, then it would ultimately negatively affect how people view women in general.

One of the largest causes of this issue is how there are very few women directors and large numbers of male directors. Because of this, I believe that women are more disadvantaged when it comes to expressing their views. This is one of the main reasons why most protagonists in a lot of films are males and not females. However, there has been a lot of changes recently. Because women started to speak up about this issue, we have had movies such as Captain Marvel that have been doing in the box office.

I think the main reason that girls get bullied at school is that the media wants to create a perfect picture of what a perfect woman should look like. This is what separates them when they judge each other all the time. Therefore I believe that the media should take a step and help out women instead of belittling them.
